Booking terms
A
contract between you and me comes into effect when I accept a reservation
from you. I will accept a reservation when I have received the required
deposit from you and I have confirmed your reservation. You must be able to
enter into a legally binding contract and be over 18 years to make a
Booking. Rates quoted are correct only
for the specific number of guests, nights and dates shown. Should you change
the number of guests, dates or room nights, then the rates are likely to change.
Arrival and departure
Check-in is from 16:00 to 20:00. Check-in times outside of those specified
must be confirmed with me prior to arrival. Check-out is before 10:30am.
Availability
In the rare event, because of unforeseen circumstances, I cannot provide the
contracted accommodation, you will be offered alternate accommodation or a
full refund of any money paid.
Cancellations
If you have to cancel your booking I will try to re-let your cancelled
accommodation, but your deposit will not normally be refunded. In the event of not being
able to re-let the accommodation you may be liable to pay the balance due if
you cancel within 7 days of the visit date. To make a cancellation you must
call me on 01670 788320.
I reserve the right to terminate your Booking immediately without being liable for any refund or
compensation where you engage in unacceptable behaviour that causes a disturbance or nuisance to other guests.
Data protection
I may process the information you provide to me for the purposes notified by me to
the Information Commissioner. By making a booking, you consent to this
processing of information.
Liability
Other than for death or personal injury caused by my negligence or misrepresentation,
my total liability to you is limited to the price of the Booking and to the
fullest extent permitted by law all warranties are excluded and in no
circumstances will I be responsible for any indirect or special damages.
I will not be liable for failure to perform my part of the contract to the extent that the failure is
caused by any factor beyond my reasonable control.
You are responsible for any damage or loss caused to me or Pele Cottage and/or its contents by your act,
omission, default or neglect (or that of any member of your party as the
case may be) and you agree to indemnify me and to pay me on demand
the amount reasonably required to make good or remedy any such damage or loss.
Payment
Payment is due on the morning of departure by cash or cheque (supported by a
cheque card). We do not accept any credit or debit cards, other than for online bookings.
Conditions
By making a Booking you are deemed to accept the above terms.
Children under the age of 10 cannot be accommodated
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in Pele Cottage
No pets allowed inside Pele Cottage
